Programme Design & Direction

LEADING DESIGN TEAMS OF FACULTY, ASSOCIATES, CORPORATE PARTNERS AND DIGITAL INNOVATORS IN THE DEGREE AND EXECUTIVE EDUCATION SPACES.

Matthew was at the helm of the Oxford University's MBA during the pandemic and so led the pivot to digital, and then the subsequent pivot to blended learning once face to face education was possible again. He looks to build in not only the right teaching content and delivery, but also the time and space to encourage learners to reflect and connect with their purpose as leaders and future leaders.

Matthew is a strong proponent not only of an excellent learning experience for an individual, but also of the power of "communities of practice" - bringing people and organisations together with similar objectives, to learn and support one another. He has designed entirely new educational programmes, and has also led programme reviews to measure success and iterated designs as appropriate. The foundation of this is strong stakeholder consultation. Matthew is always thinking of ideas (and bringing in others to help think of ideas!) to make improvements on a learning design.

From the Oxford MBA to smaller customised interventions, Matthew has acted as a programme director for a number of large and small scale interventions, He builds strong relationships both on the client side and also with participants to help them maximise their learnings and the impact of the programme on their development and ambitions.

Matthew is committed to impact through scale and growth, which means doing so whilst maintaining and improving on the ultimate success and impact of a project or programme.

Matthew led the Oxford MBA through the pandemic and out the other side, and then worked across the Oxford community to redesign the programme for the future. He is an exceptional collaborator and communicator, and is always striving to deliver the best possible learning experience for his students, to maximise the educational impact and value for all. It has been a true pleasure working with Matthew.
